Principal's Welcome

Glenknoll Cougar Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! My name is Erica Kadhom, and it is my absolute pleasure to serve as the principal of Glenknoll Elementary School. It is a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful and caring school community, and I look forward to working alongside you. I take the trust you have placed in our school very seriously, and I want you to feel comfortable and confident in every aspect of your child’s educational journey. I am fully committed to supporting each and every family as we work to build a nurturing learning environment for all.

Throughout my career in education, I have had the honor of serving PYLUSD in multiple capacities, including classroom teacher, activities director,  assistant principal and principal. Each role inspired me, helped me grow, and instilled in me the belief that all children can learn. I’ve found that every child has remarkable potential and, when we unite in support of our students, that potential becomes reality.

On a personal note, my husband and I live nearby in Yorba Linda where we’re raising our enthusiastic four-year-old daughter, Stella. I enjoy reading, exercising, and staying present with my family. I am also a student at Cal Poly Pomona, earning my doctoral degree in K-12 Educational Leadership.

The success and well-being of your children is my top priority. I believe that strong schools are built on strong relationships, so I am here to listen, learn and lead alongside each of you. Please know that my door is always wide open; I welcome your questions, thoughts and ideas. I am here to support you and your children in any way I can, and I see you all as true partners in this work.
