H1N1 Preventative Information is Now Available on the District’s Website
As the flu season arrives, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District encourages parents to check the district’s website at: http://www.pylusd.org/homepgnews/H1N1-swine-flu-news.asp regarding health tips, and preventative measures.
The site includes frequently asked questions, tips for families, information for talking with children about the flu, posters, and links to additional resources.
The Orange County Health Care Agency has advised schools that children should stay home for at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever, or signs of a fever, without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
